Unicorns and Paw Patrol: Aria Turns 4!

Last Friday, we celebrated Aria turning four years old.

As I type the words “four years old,” I wonder how time could pass by so quickly. I remember the very first time we celebrated her mermaid birthday at 1-year-old.

Then on her second birthday, we held a Peppa Pig-themed party.

On her third birthday, we flew to Boracay for a beach party.

Now that Aria is 4, her wish was to celebrate her day with the people she loves.

I wanted her personality to shine on her 4th birthday and show everyone all her favorite things in life at 4.

I totally got the pre-school teacher vibe here. And it clearly looks like I am having more fun than everyone else. Kids at 4 just love to dance!

Rewind one month earlier, I asked her what theme she wanted. She answered: unicorn and Paw Patrol. At that time I was puzzled how I could pull of a party with two themes.

But somehow it just fit perfectly and the kids were surprised and excited. (@Cosplay_performers)

The kids got a chance to pick from these four stations: cupcake-making, painting, glitters, and face painting.

I got help from Fine Arts students from Anggono under the foundation Bikes for the Philippines to do the art activities. (@artistsofmanila)

My niece was a pre-school teacher who loves baking, so she took care of the cupcake-making station.

Kids decorated cupcake with Unicorn heads, frosting, and sprinkles. Tada! Finished product made by the kids themselves!

It’s finally time for Aria to blow her cake and make a wish! (@Honeyglazecakes)

In the end, I was happy seeing them smile and laugh. Truly it makes everything all worth it!

The pagod was all worth it!

Aria’s wish was to spend her birthday with family, friends, and classmates. Dream come true!

We like giveaways that are handy and reusable! (@insta_mug and @arteegram_manila)

But next time, I should have a loot for boys and girls to enjoy. All of them were so girly!

Adults got burgers and fries, and the best shawarma (@meshwerestaurant) for snacking. To wash it all down on this hot Sunday, adults and kids enjoyed ice cream (@ficacropolis).

Truly a simpler, more intimate, and joyful party. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated Aria’s birthday with us! And to those reading this, thanks for checking out my blog.
